The Roath Park pub is at risk of demolition. This building from 1886 is the last remaining Victorian pub on City Road, Cardiff. It closed down in 2020 and the owner has put two proposals forward for its demolition. The first one, with a post-redevelopment flats project, which was withdrawn; and the second one, without a plan for redevelopment, which was approved. There might be a small chance to save the building as, apparently, the owner is open to negotiation if an economically viable proposal is put forward.
