The Strathmore Hotel on Queen Street is a B-Listed hotel, originally and classically named the White House or White Horse Inn. It served as a stopover for people traveling on stage coach from Edinburgh - Perth - Aberdeen and likely troops as well since Coupar Angus seems to have been an important point for travel between north and south.

It has been empty for decades and is prime for a new lease on life. It is walking distance to Coupar Burn waterway and the hustle of Coupar Angus centre.
